Krewe of Excalibur
The
Krewe of Excalibur Carnival Club are preparing
for their Mardi Gras parade in Metairie
on February 10, 2023. A Medieval theme to
the organization lends itself to grand costuming
and a unique look. If you are a Medieval buff
you will enjoy their ball where King Arthur,
with his sword Excalibur, reigns with his
Queen Guenevire. Merlin and Lady of the Lake
also appear.
The Krewe of Excalibur are a social Organization having several fun filled events each year.

The
Krewe of Excalibur is a Jefferson Parish Parade
that rides along the Veterans Memorial Blvd.
Route in Metairie, LA (about 10 minutes from
New Orleans). It’s a safe, family atmosphere
that millions of people have enjoyed over the
years. Over the years they have catered to this
atmosphere by making their parade a fun time
with bands or dance groups between every float,
by throwing items specially designed for children
like youth t-shirts, stuffed castles and hand
decorated shields, and by having family related
socials throughout the year. They are also the
first parade of the season, so it’s very
well attended by the public.
